Available Services and On-Going Programs and Events

Our programs and workshops are scheduled quarterly throughout the calendar year and can be found on our Programs and Events page. Besides these quarterly public programs, we offer many more services plus on-going programs and events.

Group Lectures and Guided Walks

Staff is available to organized school and community groups for guided walks and lectures upon request. Contact the Park Office to arrange a tailored program for your group. View our Programs for Groups (PDF) for a list of available group programs (including Scout Groups).

Affiliated Groups

The clubs and community organizations listed below provide some similar services and programs to what the Parks Division also offers. Visit the link to each of the groups below for additional information on what they offer.

Arc of Hunterdon County: The Arc of Hunterdon County will empower individuals experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities to live and work in the community on their own terms as proud, vital members of society.

Hunterdon Flutterwheels: The Hunterdon Flutterwheels is a Square Dance Club that enjoys Fun, Friends, and Fellowship. We alternate Mainstream and Plus square dance tips, with an occasional line dance.

Hunterdon Hiking Club: The Hunterdon Hiking Club (HHC) is an affiliated organization of the Hunterdon County Parks Division. The purpose of the club is to provide a forum where individuals may join with others for the personal enjoyment of hiking and other outdoor activities.

Northwest New Jersey Beekeepers Association (NWNJBA): The NWNJBA is an association of more than 100 beekeepers and serves in Hunterdon and Warren Counties. The association provides support, education, and promotion of the general interests in the support of bee culture.

The Travis Manion Battalion, United States Sea Cadet Corps of Hunterdon County: The Travis Manion Battalion is a youth group operating under the auspices of the United States Navy.

On-Going Programs and Events

The Hunterdon County Parks Division organizes various programs, workshops, and trips that can be found on our Programs and Events page for all ages throughout the year. The fees established are used entirely to maintain existing programs and generate additional and free programs for the public. Registration is necessary for most programs and is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration forms are available online for you to print, sign and return to the Division.
