We supply the transportation to this Swiss Alp/ European-like town that is nestled in a mountain. Jim Thorpe is spectacular during the fall foliage season! The coach bus will drop us off and pick us up in historic Jim Thorpe, travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes each way. You design your agenda for the day. The hamlet of Jim Thorpe offers an abundance of great things to do and see, all within walking distance. You could book a guided tour of the Asa Packer Mansion or the Old Jail Museum, or check out Jim Thorpe Walking or Van Tours. The Episcopal Parish of St. Mark and St. John is a marvel to see. Check out the Visitor’s Center, Stabin Museum, Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary, Scott Lignore Carriage Rides, or the Mauch Chunk Opera House. Book a train ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway; this is a must-do if you have never been aboard. Or maybe you would like to go shopping in the many unique shops that line the main road. You might want to make reservations at one of the fabulous restaurants for your dinning needs. Wear sturdy footwear, be prepared for lots of walking on sidewalks, up and down the big hill.

New York City Bus Trip

• Date: Sunday, December 10 
• Time: Depart 8:30 AM and return 8:00 PM (leave NYC at 6:00 PM)
• Location: Departs from Deer Path Park, meet in the Soccer Lot, 120 West Woodschurch Road, Flemington, NJ 08822. NYC Drop off point, Bryant Park
• Ages: all (must bring your own car seat, you may leave it on bus) 
• (children must be accompanied by an adult)
• Cost: $45 (pre-registration required)
• Instructor: Patrick Eckard, Recreation Program Coordinator
• Class size: 51 participants

Join us on December 10 for our coach bus trip into the winter wonderland of NYC. Experience the holiday season like never before in historic Manhattan—where the smell of hot chocolate and pine waft through the air! On this Christmas expedition, you and your family design your perfect day in the city and we will bring you there. You can spend your day at the world-famous Rockefeller Center ice rink or on a carriage ride through Central Park with your loved ones. You can shop at the historic New York City Macy’s or go to the Broadway show of your choice—the options are endless. The private coach bus departs from Deer Path Park at 8:30 AM and will head straight to Bryant Park which is near Times Square and other attractions. No more dealing with trains and traffic—we provide the transportation, and you take it from there.
