Accessibility Information
All LINK vehicles are wheelchair accessible.
The following are allowed aboard LINK vehicles:
- Manual or Electric Mobility Device
- Walker/Cane
- Personal Aide (no fare when accompanying passenger)
- Portable Oxygen Tank
- Only service animals accompanying customers with disabilities or their trainers, police dogs, and small pets in carry-on travel cages are allowed on-board LINK buses
Drivers may assist passengers as they board or depart the vehicle. Drivers will secure mobility devices. All drivers are Passenger Service and Safety (PASS) certified.
Service and schedule information will be made available for individuals with visual or hearing impairments by request.
Please call 800-842-0531 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, to discuss accessibility needs.
Needing an Escort? For all Senior Citizens and/ or Individuals with Disabilities, you may bring an escort with you at no additional cost. When you call to make your trip request, you must advise the Call Taker if an escort will travel with you and a seat will be reserved for your escort.
Non-Discrimination Policy - Title VI
It is the policy of The Hunterdon County Transportation System that no person shall be excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in the receipt of its services on the basis of race, color, or national origin as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.
No person or group of persons shall be discriminated against with regard to the availability or quality of transportation services provided on the basis of race, color, or national origin. The availability or quality of transportation services, information or assistance, fare structures, frequency of service, and transportation facilities provided by or directly operated by the County of Hunterdon, shall not be determined on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
Any person who believes that he or she has, individually or as a member of any specific class of persons, been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin may file a Title VI complaint with the County of Hunterdon Transportation System, as outlined in the Department of Human Services Title VI Policy and Procedures, within 180 days of the date of the alleged discrimination. Transportation services provided by this agency are in whole or part funded through federal funds received through NJ Transit and as an individual, you also have the right to file a complaint to the Federal Transit Administration.
