Hunterdon County Entomologist Tadhgh Rainey presenting a program on Lyme Disease and Other Tick-BornHunterdon County Division of Public Health Nursing and Education coordinates with professionals to provide free monthly educational seminars to the residents of Hunterdon County who are 60 years or older or have disabilities.

The seminars are emphasized to encourage healthy behaviors, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.

The overall goal is to “promote quality of life, safety in everyday living, and healthy aging.”

All events are held from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Hunterdon County Public Health Nursing Office (next to the County Senior Center), unless otherwise indicated.

Programs are free and open to residents of Hunterdon County with disabilities and seniors 60 years of age and older.  Blood Pressure Screening will be available for those interested.  A light breakfast will be served, courtesy of Flemington ShopRite.

Pre-Registration is recommended, seating is limited.
