Art Goes To School

9Share the Excitement of Visual Expression with Elementary School Students!

  • Learn about famous artists and artwork and how to communicate information about them in your own style to the most enthusiastic listeners ever—young children. No prior teaching experience or an art education background is required; Art Goes To School provides training. 
  • In-school programs take place in the spring. 
  • Volunteer meetings occur one Monday each month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the Hunterdon County Historic Courthouse, 71 Main Street, Building 3, 1st floor, Flemington, NJ 08822
  • Meeting dates are March 20th, April 17th "Has been canceled", May 15th. June 19th. AGTS meetings will be held at HC Main Library at Rte.12, Due to the restoration construction at the Courthouse . 
  • Individuals interested volunteering for Art Goes to School of the Delaware Valley should email Cultural & Heritage Commission staff for more information.
