The Hunterdon County Division of Senior, Disabilities and Veterans' Services began distribution of its FILE OF LIFE Program for all senior residents (60+ years of age) of the County on October 1, 2003.
The FILE OF LIFE Program consists of a card containing vital personal and medical information which is kept on the outside of a person's refrigerator in a bright, RED Magnetic Pocket readily accessible to EMTs, Fire Departments, Police, and other emergency responders who may need this information. Also included is a FILE OF LIFE door sticker to be placed on the outside of the main entrance of a person's home to alert incoming emergency personnel to the availability of this pertinent information.
The Hunterdon County Division of Senior, Disabilities and Veterans' Services , in cooperation with all 21 municipalities is offering, free of charge, a FILE OF LIFE packet to all senior residents of the County. Hunterdon residents can pick up their FILE OF LIFE packet from either their municipal clerk or at the Division office.
