Family Support Organization of Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren (FSO) - ensures that families of children with special emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges are provided with a compassionate, community-based, culturally-competent system of care that will provide family-friendly support services, education, and advocacy.
Resource(s) include:
- Parent Support Groups- groups are open to any parent/caregiver who is raising a child with any special mental, emotional, behavioral health challenge or a developmental disability.
- Hunterdon County Evening Support Groups- third Wednesday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Hunterdon Prevention Resources, Flemington.
- Hunterdon County Lunchtime Support Group- second Wednesday of the month from 12 pm to 2 pm, Hunterdon Family Success Center, Flemington
- Various Educational Workshops- open community on various topics, stress management, special education, etc.
- Youth Partnership- youth (boys and girls) ages 13-21 with any mental, emotional or behavioral health challenge. For exact locations and times call 908-223-1191.
