2021 All Hazard Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan
PLANNING GROUP

To facilitate HMP development, Hunterdon County developed a Steering Committee to provide guidance and direction to the planning effort, and to ensure the resulting document will be embraced both politically and by the constituency within the planning area.

The membership of the Steering Committee consisted of representatives from the following organizations: Division of Emergency Management, Planning Department, Department of Public Works, Health Services, Project Administration, Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce, Soil Conservation District and Hunterdon Medical Center.

In addition, a Planning Committee was assembled to represent each of the municipalities participating in the HMP update, with one primary representative, an alternate point of contact and the NFIP Floodplain Administrator from each of the 26 participating municipalities.
