Renée M. Robeson


On, June 1, 2021, Renée M. Robeson was sworn in as Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor and on July 6, 2021 she was sworn in as Hunterdon County Prosecutor.

Raised in Hunterdon County, Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson served as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office for over 17 years prior to Governor Phil Murphy nominating her for her post in Hunterdon County.

Prior to her assignment in Hunterdon County, Prosecutor Robeson led trial teams, and the Special Victims and Megan's Law Units.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Robeson is a recipient of the Mercer County Victim Witness Advocacy Award for Outstanding Service on Behalf of Crime Victims and for cooperation with the Mercer County Office of Victim Advocacy.

She is a graduate of West Virginia University and the Widener University School of Law where she was honored with National Membership to The Order of Barristers.

She is a member of the New Jersey, District of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and United States Patent Bars.
