Six-spotted Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sexguttata)

This insect is easily identified by its bright metallic green color. The hard outer wings (called elytra) have 3 to 5 white spots each (two elytra means it could have 6 to 10 spots total). Tiger beetles have a thorax (middle) thinner than the head.
