Snowberry Clearwing Moth (Hemaris diffinis)

This and the closely related Hummingbird Clearwing (H. thysbe) are named after their clear wings and hovering flight, resembling a bumblebee or hummingbird. They feed at flowers in the daytime, pollinating them as they go.
