- Clerical Testing
- County adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements, and Rules and Regulations under NJ State Statutes, Administrative Code, and State Department of Personnel Rules
The Hunterdon County Division of Information Technology (IT) internally serves the technology needs for all County offices.
IT is responsible for implementing and supporting all county workstations (hardware and software), local and area networks, email and internet applications as well as the development and maintenance of the various County web sites.
The Division manages the County’s computer operations, planning of technology standards, technical assistance, application systems design and management. The Division is responsible for providing advice and recommendations to all County Departments and the Board of County Commissioners regarding all technology matters. Our mission is to develop strategies and prepare plans to improve and enhance the IT resources supporting the County operations.
The County WAN/LAN provides reliable and cost effective data transport to all County Departments.
The IT Division also sets standards for Hardware, Software, and Computer replacement for all County Departments and is responsible for network development and its maintenance, modification and maximization of operational performance. The IT Division defines network standards for the County.
