The agriculture and natural resources program provides information and educational programs related to commercial agriculture, professional horticulture, and environmental issues. Programs designed for farmers focus on farm production, farm profitability, integrated pest management (IPM), and applied agricultural research.   Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a management system that helps farmers anticipate and prevent pest problems from reaching damaging levels by using a wide range of control tactics.

This program offers educational and outreach on topics such as soil testing, identification of plant pests, agricultural marketing education, pesticide safety, farm management, farmer plate certificates and other land use topics. This program also offers publications on a wide range of agricultural, horticultural, and environmental subjects.
